Complete and concise. Great reference tool.

Desparate for a good reference that touches on all the aspects, I checked this book out of the Scottsdale City Library. Two days later I had my own copy. It beats my many "Complete References" with their thousands of pages. What a uniquely written book. A visual approach to a visual subject. I think it is excellent for pros who don't memorize all the tags. Beginners may be a little dazed.

You will definitely learn Pro/E Wildfire easily!

This book is probably best suited for Intermediate level Pro/E Wildfire users who are looking for ways to improve their productivity. This is a 700+ page book that is very illustrative inside and has a killer tip per page. If you tried to learn these productivity and usage tips on your own without this book, you could spend at least an hour on each tip and still miss quite a few tips. This book will eliminate 1-2 years from your learning curve and save you hundreds of hours that can be spent on doing more projects.
Here's an example of how valuable the book is- if your client needs drawings of a product along with the BOM and title block then you will have to search for another book that discuss Drawing mode of Pro/E. Do you know how NOT to lose your work? This book alone saved me a lot of time when it happened to me (given enough time, it will definitely happen to all users). Not only the Drawing mode, using this book you can learn other modes of Pro/E that are helpful in completly designing a product. The book covers, Sketch, Part, Drawing, Assembly, Format, Report modes of Pro/E Wildfire. The chapter on Surface modeling is also available on the Author's website. If you want some sample chapters then visit www.cadcim.com.
This book is full of tutorials that you can practice. The best part of the tutorials is that while working on the tutorial you can never get stuck in the middle of the tutorial. If you have started a tutorial then there are 100% chances that you will be able to complete it. I have not found this quality of a book in any of the other books available on Pro/E Wildfire.
The best part about the book is that you can open the book on any page and learn something new for the day. If you spend a lot of time designing, you won't regret completing a tutorial per day and in the process benefit tremendously from the time spent with the book. The price is not too bad either so don't hesitate to buy this book. Enjoy the tutorials and exercises in the book!!!

WONDERFUL, COMPREHENSIVE, AND VERY READABLE

You will definitely enjoy this book. Beginning with Caesar, touching on Enigma in WWII, and ending with RSA and quantum cryptography, Simon Singh does an excellent job of tracing the history of secret communication. You will find this book enjoyable and enlightening. You will learn how your credit card number is sent securely online and how to send email that can't be read but by only one person. You will also learn about the ongoing debate of how secure encryption should be allowed to be. A wonderful book that assumes no previous knowledge but leaves you with so much information, THE CODE BOOK is a must-have for anyone.

A Must Read

Admittedly a novice to the subject matter, I found "Defensive Design for the Web" to be very enlightening. The focus is on those irritations/frustrations encountered all too frequently when navigating web sites. Its concise, easy to follow instructional critique facilitates understanding and provides clearly-defined and well-documented solutions. In short, very informative and extremely well-written ---definitely, a must read.
