Helpful Starting Point

I bought and read this book as I was trying to make a career move into Web Project Management. This book was very helpful to me in taking my PM skillset, and web-enabling it. I found the templates very useful as a starting point as well. When I eventually did land a job doing more web-based PM - I shared this books resources with my team to use on an intranet re-design project we're working on. I highly recommend this book.

More helpful if less errors

If you are thinking about buying this or any other e-book from Adobe for that matter - STOP!, and dont waste your money. When I paid for this book little did I know that the book can only be read on the computer I downloaded the file to. Great, so I now learn AFTER I have paid for the book that I can only read it on my home computer when I actually intended to use it on my work system or on my laptop. This has to be one of the most ridiculous security measures I ave ever heard of. You cannot even backup copies to a disk - because these copies will not work either. This is to coin a phrase very sneaky on the behalf of the publishers - who dont tell prospective customers in advance.
If I had known that I would be wasting my money on such rubbish, I would have bought the REAL book, (which by the way is the same price as the ebook), and which I could then use whenever and wherever I chose to use it.I am sure there must be many others who have had exactly the same problem as I have - and I sympathize with you.All I can say is I will never be purchasing another e-book from Adobe or anyone else for that matter, and I wouldnt be surprised to hear that comment from 90% of all e-book customers.

All you need

First, the reviewer below states that Linux is not a flavor of UNIX. Not true... although it was developed from the ground up, that doesn't mean that it's not a UNIX derivative. Not important for the exam, but Linux guys are so wound up on this issue :)
Second, the good news is the book delivers. The bad news is the book delivers. I say this because anyone with a good memory can read this book and pass the exam. It's only so much information and very logical. The authors do a great job... I just wish the exam was a little more difficult!

In another league from other HTML guides

I have read many books on HTML and this is by far the best. All the examples are easy to follow, the excellent layout of the book helping in this regard. Also the depth this book goes to is outstanding, Elizabeth Castro covers ALL areas of HTML so you will not need another book. Firstly I bought "HTML 4 for dummies" which is appalling in comparison with no logical flow of subject. Buy this book; you will not be disappointed.
